Egalis.eu – the European pay transparency platform

Egalis.eu is the European edition of Egalis, a pay transparency compliance platform: a SaaS product that takes an employer’s payroll data (a CSV/XLSX export from any payroll software, with automatic column recognition), evaluates jobs on the four criteria of Art. 4(4) of the Directive (the EIGE methodology), groups them into categories of work of equal value, computes the seven gender pay gap indicators of Art. 9, prepares the report and tracks every deadline. The application is available in English and in eight other EU languages (Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Greek, Croatian, Lithuanian); the Romanian edition runs at egalis.ro.

Alongside the application, the site publishes free guides to the Directive, a FAQ and browser-only tools that store nothing: the gender pay gap calculator, the vacancy notice checker and the compliance calendar.

Egalis automates the calculations and workflows the Directive requires; it does not provide legal advice. For specific situations, consult an employment lawyer.

Egalis.eu is operated by ADDO VISION SOLUTIONS SRL, a Romanian company incorporated in 2013, with its registered office in Bucharest, Șos. Berceni nr. 96, Monaco Towers, A9.06.

Mihai Postolache is the founder of Egalis and the author of the guides and Q&A pages on this site. He has more than 17 years of professional experience and more than 12 years in business: he ran a digital marketing agency and the digitalisation studio AZV.ro, working with early-stage startups and with companies launching new divisions, in business strategy, branding, digital marketing, automation and software development. His training includes the Mini MBA programme of the Bucharest International School of Management; he is a member of the Romanian Business Leaders and Commons Accel communities.

Egalis grows out of that experience: most of the Directive’s obligations are repeatable calculations and workflows — which software can do correctly, on time and with evidence, without the employer needing in-house legal expertise.

The product launched in 2026, the year the Directive’s transposition deadline expired (7 June 2026) and one year before the first reporting deadline (7 June 2027, on 2026 data). In order of appearance: the free tools and guides of the Romanian edition, the application, then this European edition in English and eight other EU languages.

Every statement on this site is based on Directive (EU) 2023/970 itself; national implementing laws are named only where adopted, and drafts are called drafts. The facts of the Directive live in a single source in the code, every page carries the date of its last update, and the state of transposition is re-checked regularly — last on 26 September 2026. Figures reflect Directive (EU) 2023/970, unchanged — the Commission has ruled out any postponement, and its FAQ of 6 August 2026 confirms the reporting calendar. The transposition deadline of 7 June 2026 has passed: as of September 2026 only Italy, Slovakia, Lithuania, Malta and Greece have complete implementing laws, and most member states are still drafting. Where your country has no implementing law yet, the Directive is the reference; national rules may be stricter once adopted.
